The 28th meeting of the SNF Dialogues found us all in a different spot than the last one, but it found us here. On Wednesday, 15 April at 18:30, the SNF Dialogues discussed our new socially distant reality. This conversation took place online, but the Dialogues’ focus on open participation and genuine give-and-take remained.

The 1st live webcast event, “Waiting to Connect,” took place on the new Dialogues website (snfdialogues.org) and featured Nicholas A. Christakis, M.D., Ph.D., M.P.H., "Sterling Professor" of Social and Natural Science at Yale University, and film director Vasilis Kekatos. During the discussion, the speakers shared concerns about the situation we are all experiencing and answered real-time questions from the audience. This first live webcast touched upon the role of technology in staying connected, the human need for strong social ties, and the unexpected upsides of life under lockdown.

The SNF Dialogues are curated and moderated by Anna-Kynthia Bousdoukou.
