Katerina Tarli

Katerina Tarli was born in Athens, Greece on October 15, 1959. 

She studied drama at Greece’s National Theater School and the National Odeon. She has worked as an actor, director, and translator, and has published poetry collections and a novel. She is a mother of two, and found out she was HIV+ after her third child became ill and died in the US in 1987. She never became ill and came out publicly as HIV positive in 2021, during an event marking World Aids Day.
