Fred Muench

Fred Muench is a clinical psychologist and Head of the "Partnership to End Addiction" (www.drugfree.org). His focus is on building, testing, and implementing digital interventions to prevent problematic substance use and treat addiction in real-world and clinical settings. This includes comprehensive direct services to parents and caregivers offered by the Partnership such as the national helpline and mobile support applications. In addition, Fred has been the PI on multiple behavioral health grants to study how we can best treat addiction and is the author of numerous articles on improving health outcomes using technology.
