Birgit Njåstad

Birgit Njåstad holds a Master’s in Natural Resource Management from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. She has worked extensively with Antarctic management as well as policy and research issues for over two decades. She has represented Norway on the Antarctic Treaty’s Committee for Environmental Protection, which she currently chairs.
