Alexia Tsagkari

Alexia Tsagkari is a freelance reporter and filmmaker. She has worked for Tachydromos magazine, TA NEA newspaper, Liberation, VICE Greece and VICE News. Her feature stories and documentaries have been published in international media such as ARTE, RT, Quartz, Global Post, Mediapart, VICE on HBO, Internazionale, Les Echos, Handelsblatt and Le Monde Diplomatique, among others. In 2017 she won the 1st prize for the best investigative feature article produced as part of the Balkan Fellowship for Journalistic Excellence. In 2020 she was selected by iMedD’s Incubator program to produce an investigative documentary.
